Medima Solutions announces the release of version 1.14 of PacsPrinter. With this version the Windows Vista platform is now supported. PacsPrinter's new versions are also now certified for use in US Department of Veterans Affairs applications. PacsPrinter has been widely and successfully deployed by both end users and OEMs into a demanding variety of PACS applications. Medima Solutions, a leader in solutions towards the paperless healthcare enterprise, announced today that it has entered into a OEM Agreement with a Japanese company, Goodman Healthcare IT Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of Cardiology PACS systems.
Goodman Healthcare IT Solutions, Inc. will incorporate two products from Medima Solutions into its newest release of Goodnet®. PacsPrinter will provide virtual printing of documents into the PACS archive from any Goodnet® workstation, and PacsPScanner will offer users document scanning and storage capability in the PACS archive as well.
The impact of these products is expected to dramatically decrease the quantity of paper related to patient procedures, while increasing the productivity and patient care efforts of Cardiologists.
