Q: PacsScanner hangs when trying to scan a document |
A: The first thing that has to be checked when this problem occurs is that the scanner or the camera that you have selected in PacsScanner are actually connected. With most devices PacsScanner would generate a proper warning or error message. Sometimes the device drivers do not work properly and PacsScanner is not able to get from them the correct "answer" when trying the acquisition from such devices. |

Q: Does it make difference using Upper and Low Case in the Query in PacsScanner & PacsPrinter? |
A: This depends on the settings on your PACS system. Check whether your PACS system is Case Sensitive when responding to Queries. |
Q: PacsPrinter indicates it is loading, can I interrupt it and refine the selection? |
A: At startup PacsScanner starts loading all the patients from the PACS. If the PACS contains many patients this can take a very long time. However at any time you can enter a full or partial patient name or ID and start a new search by pressing the search button. |
Q: In PacsPrinter the continue button is not enabled. |
A: You need to select either a patient or study. When a patient is selected a new study will be created with the study ID, study description, series number and description as entered in the boxes at the bottom. Selecting a study will result in the creation of a new series for which the number and description can be edited. |
Q: What are the restrictions in the demo version? |
A: The demo version is fully functional. The only restriction is a message overlayed in every image stored in the PACS. |
